Michelle Bachmann Supports Intelligent Design

And Probably
Thinks Dungeons and Dragons is Medieval History

"I support intelligent design. What I support is putting all science on the table and then letting students decide. I don't think it's a good idea for government to come down on one side of scientific issue or another, when there is reasonable doubt on both sides."
-- Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), quoted by CNN.

Of course, this issue has been litigated in court, with this result

A six-week trial over the issue yielded “overwhelming evidence” establishing that intelligent design “is a religious view, a mere re-labeling of creationism, and not a scientific theory,” said Jones, a Republican and a churchgoer appointed to the federal bench three years ago.

So Ms. Bachman, exactly what part of Intelligent Design is a scientific issue?  And no, the fact that you believe something is true does not make it true. Actually, looking at your past statements the fact that you believe something is true usually means that it is not.
