Mitt Romney Thinks Being Unemployed is Funny – Ha Ha

Mitt Romney was in Florida and sat down with some unemployed workers to discuss their situation.  Here, from the NY Times, is what happened.

 

Mitt Romney met with voters at Buddy Brew Coffee in Tampa on Thursday.

TAMPA, Fla. — Mitt Romney sat at the head of the table at a coffee shop here on Thursday, listening to a group of unemployed Floridians explain the challenges of looking for work. When they finished, he weighed in with a predicament of his own.

“I should tell my story,” Mr. Romney said. “I’m also unemployed.”

He chuckled.

Pretty funny.  Well The Dismal Political Economist has a joke for Mr. Romney

What do you call a person who is long term unemployed, who is not trying to find a job in the private sector and who is trying to get a highly paid job from the federal government that he may not be qualified for?  

Answer:  Mitt Romney
