Short Takes on the News Because It is a Summer Weekend

USA Today reports on the high unemployment rate among those recently leaving the military.

The University said they didn’t understand why needs like education came before football, “I mean, what’s that all about?” said an unnamed academic official at the school.

Former Wisconsin Senator Russ Feingold urged Democrats not to use the same fund raising techniques for raising unlimited corporation contributions as the Republicans are using.  Apparently Mr. Feingold believes that losing every single election in 2012 is the way for Democrats to get their programs preserved and enacted.
