John McCain Explains Why He Chose Sarah Palin as the Vice Presidential Nominee

Start Your Day with a Good Laugh

For reasons totally beyond the understanding of this Forum, or anyone else for that matter Sen. John McCain (R, Az) continues to be featured on Sunday news shows.  Sen. McCain is not a current leader of the Republican party, he is certainly in his last term in the Senate and he has no real influence or special knowledge to bring to the discussion.  Yet his presence persists.

Here is Sen. McCain speaking about choosing a Vice Presidential nominee, as reported by Politico.

Sarah Palin's qualifications were the overriding reason Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) selected the former Alaska governor as his 2008 presidential running mate, he said Sunday.

Ok, everybody, have a good chuckle, and then it’s back to work.
