A Follow-Up Story on the Conviction of a Kansas City Bishop in the Church’s Abuse Case

A Story That Needs No Comment

Earlier this year a Bishop in Kansas City was convicted for his actions, or rather lack of actions in a case involving the Catholic diocese and abuse of children.

In the three months since Bishop Robert W. Finn became the first American prelate convicted for failing to report a pedophile priest, lay people and victims’ advocates have repeatedly called for his resignation.

Here is the most interesting part of the story.

Now, recent interviews and a private survey by a company working for the Roman Catholic diocese here show for the first time that a significant number of the bishop’s own priests have lost confidence in him.

Gosh, you think?
