More Evidence Mr. Obama Has No Idea of How Washington Works – Wants Republicans to Justify a Filibuster of Judicial Nominees

Is the White House Located in an Alternate Universe?

In what is news, but shouldn’t be news, President Obama recently got a judicial nominee approved by the Senate.  Apparently that has led to this from the New York Times via Taegan Goddard.

President Obama "will soon accelerate his efforts to put a lasting imprint on the country's judiciary by simultaneously nominating three judges to an important federal court, a move that is certain to unleash fierce Republican opposition and could rekindle a broader partisan struggle over Senate rules," the New York Times reports.

"In trying to fill the three vacancies on the 11-member United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit at once, Mr. Obama will be adopting a more aggressive nomination strategy. He will effectively be daring Republicans to find specific ground to filibuster all the nominees."

Notice the last sentence.  Mr. Obama is daring Republicans to find grounds to filibuster when Republicans have consistently filibustered for no reason at all other than to deny the President a vote.

Really.  We don't know where has Mr. Obama been the past four and a half years but he needs to revisit reality.
